2nd Annual AFP Tidewater Freedom Festival on May 9,2026 from 11 AM – 6 PM is a full day of family fun, community pride, and patriotic celebration, and best of all, it's completely free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy live music, thrilling historical reenactments that bring America's founding story to life, and inflatables and games for the whole family. The festival proudly features Corvettes for Veterans, a special tribute honoring the men and women who have served our nation, alongside Veterans Appreciation activities throughout the day. Guests can explore a variety of local vendors and satisfy their appetite with offerings from food trucks on site. With special guests and community organizations all coming together to celebrate America's 250th birthday, the Freedom Festival is more than an event it is a testament to the enduring spirit of liberty, community, and the American Dream.
